R&R Sports Colorado is the parent company of multiple outdoor adventure brands across Colorado. R&R Sports Colorado-owned brands offer equipment rentals and retail services, including ski and snowboard rentals, bike rentals, and more.
The company lacked a digital presence and cohesive branding, which were essential for establishing credibility and trust. A strong brand identity and website were particularly critical, as they reinforced the company’s legitimacy and industry position.

Objective
Develop a brand identity that captures R&R Sports Colorado's blend of outdoor adventure and top quality through a sophisticated yet dynamic aesthetic.
The logo design process involved multiple iterations, beginning with sketches and an exploration of typography and imagery inspired by skiing and snowboarding. A key challenge was choosing the character between the R’s. Ampersands and plus signs were experimented with, however they didn’t provide the dynamic look that was desired, and ended up adding too much additional complexity.
The final R&R Sports Colorado logo features two dynamic, angled R’s seamlessly connected by a stylized ski or snowboard shape, integrated into the bowls of the letters. Beneath the R’s, the rest of the brand name is positioned to align harmoniously with the angular design of the letters above, creating a cohesive and visually striking composition.
The visual identity features bold typography and a dynamic, oblique typeface to capture the brand’s outdoor adventure essence. At the same time, the design maintains a refined and elegant aesthetic to appeal to the luxury market. The branding package included a logo, typography, color scheme, business cards, letterhead, presentation template, and brochure-style website—a cohesive brand experience.
