Central Seeding is a field-first environmental contractor working across the central United States, providing erosion control, hydroseeding, revegetation, geosynthetics, plantings, and soil restoration for state DOTs, municipalities, developers, federal agencies, pipeline operators, and wind and solar energy contractors.

Central Seeding was a new company with a brand-new logo and no existing web presence. They needed a full site built from scratch on a tight turnaround, ahead of a major energy industry expo where the website would serve as their primary first impression.

Central Seeding partnered with us to design, develop, and write a complete website that could establish credibility fast by communicating the caliber and range of their work, the hands-on ownership behind every project, and the trust they've built with the demanding clients they serve.

Objective

Design and build a website that gives a brand-new company a strong sales tool—a way to validate their capabilities and field-first leadership approach to new clients.

We started by leveraging Central Seeding's existing logo to build out a complementary design system. The logo's navy and orange became the site's core color palette, supplemented with charcoal gray and white as neutralizers. We found a typeface with the same blocky, confident character as the logomark, and carried the dual-colored corner element from the logo through the site as a recurring design motif.

On the content side, we wrote the site from the ground up. The target audience—DOTs, municipalities, pipeline operators, energy developers—needs to quickly understand the scope of Central Seeding's services, see that ownership is hands-on rather than remote, and trust that the company delivers safely and on schedule. The copy leans into that directness: short, confident statements about the work, the equipment, and the people doing it.

Overall, the website leans heavily into the "Field First" positioning, and included a homepage, a Services overview covering all six core service lines, an About Us page detailing the company's story and leadership team, a Projects section, and a Contact page built to route inquiries directly to leadership.

The new website gives a start-up company the presence of an established one, with an on-brand design system, tailored content, and ready before the expo doors opened.
